PERSONS WISHING TO APPEAR BEFORE THE COUNCIL REGARDING A RESOLUTION(S) ON THE AGENDA. We are now at the section of the agenda where persons wishing to appear before the council regarding a resolution(s) on the Agenda/Addendum Agenda shall have submitted to the Parish Clerk a completed and signed request to speak card. All request to speak cards must be received prior to the conclusion of the agenda item designated for such public comment. A person who submits a request to speak card shall be allowed not more than three (3) minutes to speak regarding items on the agenda.

A resolution affirmatively opting-in to allow on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars pursuant to the State of Louisiana Proclamation Number 117 JBE 2020 and requesting Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards to allow local governing authorities the ability to determine for their residents and businesses the appropriate hours of operation for bars and the sale of alcohol. A resolution authorizing an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Parish of Jefferson and Consolidated Drainage District No. 2 of the Parish of Jefferson for the planning, acquiring and/or improving public projects, including but not limited to Geisenheimer Canal Improvements, PW No. 2019-032-DR, Loumor Outfall Ditch Drainage Improvements, PW No. 2019-026-DR and Woodvine Ditch Drainage Improvements, PW No. 2019-027-DR and to provide for related matters. A resolution authorizing the purchase or expropriation of temporary construction servitudes and permanent drainage servitudes over portions of Tract M-1, Metairie Country Club from Metairie Country Club by Consolidated Drainage District No. 2 of the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana and the payment of economic damages in connection with Geisenheimer Canal Improvements, PW No. 2019-032-DR, Loumor Outfall Ditch Drainage Improvements, PW No. 2019-026-DR and Woodvine Ditch Drainage Improvements, PW No. 2019-027-DR and to provide for related matters.
