PUBLIC NOTICE - May 9, 2020 Elections The Jefferson Parish Council intends to vote on resolutions to authorize the calling of special elections for the levy and collection of special taxes in the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana, specifically: Fire Protection District No. 3 Consolidated Garbage District No. 1 East Bank Consolidated Special Service Fire Protection District Community Center and Playground District No. 16 The Jefferson Parish Council will vote on these resolutions at the Jefferson Parish Council meeting to be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor General Government Building, Gretna, Louisiana. The tentative date for this election is Saturday, May 9, 2020.
