Resolution - That in accordance with advertisements in the local newspapers and the Louisiana Statutes pertaining thereto, the Jefferson Parish Council does this day now sit as a Board of Review of the assessment valuations of property in the Parish of Jefferson for the year 2018 and shall conduct a public hearing to hear from those taxpayers desiring to protest their assessment, which taxpayers shall have timely filed the reports as required by Acts 702 and 705 of 1976. Resolution - the Chairman of the Jefferson Parish Council stated that the Assessor advertised in the local newspapers as required by law, that the Jefferson Parish Council would meet on this 19th day of September, 2018 to sit as a Board of Review to hear from those taxpayers desiring to protest the value of property fixed for assessment purposes by the Assessor for inclusion on the 2018 Jefferson Parish assessment rolls, which taxpayers shall have timely filed the reports as required by Acts 702 and 705 of 1976. Work associated with this Change Order is within the original scope of the project and is complete.
